Problem With Creating An Account
If you have problems creating a forum account, go to the

Ventrilo is a Voice over Internet Protocol program. We use the program to talk to each other in game and for chats, similar to a telephone conference call, using a headset or microphone.

We use version 2.1 of Ventrilo because the licence allows us to have more slots (or users on at the same time.)

If you do not use Ventrilo, except with the Canucks Clan, then you can download version 2.1 from our site. Ventrilo Version 2.1.3 If you use other versions of Ventrilo (either version 2.2 or 2.3) then you should download Ventrilo Mix instead. You can find Ventrilo Mix 0.5 using Google search. If you have a different version of Ventrilo already installed, you can still download version 2.1 but make sure it is installed in a different directory from the current version you have. Refer to the link at the bottom for a video on how to set-up Ventrilo.

After installing Ventrilo, you will need to connect to the Canucks Clan Ventrilo Server.
The “IP Address” for our Ventrilo Server is

and the Port Number is
3784

Welcome. Thank you for your interest in either obtaining a forum account or applying to join the Canucks Clan.

You are not automatically a member of the Canucks Clan when you get a forum account.

Obtain A Forum Account
Go to the Forum by clicking here.

Press the Register Button to go to the forum registration page
. Agree to the terms
. Enter the requested information
… Username
… E-mail address
… Password
… Select language
… Select timezone
… Enter the confirmation code
. Press the Submit button

A confirmation e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address you submitted. Check your junk mail if you cannot find it. If the e-mail cannot be located then make a post - read further about having a problem.

Once you have responded to that e-mail your forum account will be activated.

Return to the Forum page.  Press the Login Button and go to the log-in page. Enter your forum name and password. Press the Login Button.

If you have a problem, you can create a topic and explain the problem in the Account Activation forum.
Please include your forum name in your post.

Never share or give you password to anyone.

Apply To Become A Clan Member
Go to the Forums and read the topic in the Join Forum. 

The process to become a Canucks Clan member is:
· First Obtain a Canucks Forum Account
· Obtain Ventrilo (optional)
· Read and follow the instructions in the Join topic
. Create a new topic in the Join forum and post your application
· A Recruiter will acknowledges your application
· Be active in the CS:S games and in the forums and make sure your actions are responsible
· After about three weeks of being active on the games and in the forums, the Sr Recruiter will make a decision on your application.  The time gives the Recruiters time to get to you the applicant - in game and in the forums.  (That means the applicant needs to play a couple of hours each week and make about 18 new topics or replies to topics.)
· A Founder or the Sr Recruiter will advise you of your application in a response to the application you posted.

Only when you are welcomed as a Canucks Clan member may you put the cnKs! tag on your game name.
